Chios Medical Association
The Chios Medical Association is the institution of the island's doctors, in both the public and the private sector. We built its website guided by the association's own phrase: to serve “the two-way communication between the public and the members”.
The menu keeps the two audiences clearly apart: the Association, the Announcements and the Events address everyone, while the “For members” section gathers legislation, paperwork, conferences and scientific meetings.
The Doctor Search works from any device: by name, by specialty, or both combined — across the public and the private sector.

The medical journal Medicus Hippocraticus, back in circulation with articles by the association's doctors, was given a digital home: all its issues, from the first and the second period, available to read.
The website also houses the Historical Medical Museum of Chios: medical instruments and devices of other eras, with the collections of the Leprosarium and the Maternity Hospital documented one by one. All of this is now updated, after the appropriate training, by the association itself.
