Efstratios Stylianos Pyrgelis
The practice of neurologist Efstratios-Stylianos Pyrgelis, MD, PhD, is in Chios, at 21 Polytechneiou street. The website we built answers the three things anyone who needs it looks for: who the doctor is — with a CV recording a doctorate from the University of Athens and more than thirty publications — where the practice is, and how to get responsible information on a neurological matter. Bilingual, with the maintenance in our hands.
The navigation keeps the path short: Doctor, Practice, Neurological topics, Contact, with the telephone permanently in the header. And reading was designed accessible, in compliance with the WCAG 2.0 AA standard: text scaling, contrast settings, a readable typeface.
The neurological topics are the section that grows: eleven articles to date, on conditions such as myasthenia and on examinations such as the EEG, written — as the doctor himself puts it — \"in the plainest possible words\". Each article has an English version too, and each new article becomes one more entry point to the website.
Time is brain
The website keeps two reading levels side by side: the full CV, with the studies, the doctorate and the publications documented for anyone who wants to check them, and the plain-language articles for anyone who needs to understand. The patient and the colleague read the same site, each at the depth they ask for.
