Zoodochos Pigi
Zoodochos Pigi is a private general clinic in the town of Chios, with thirty beds and four departments. The website we built serves one purpose: patients and their families find in advance what they would otherwise ask over the phone — departments, doctors, rooms, admission procedure, cost. In two languages, Greek and English, and with the maintenance in our hands to this day.
The structure serves the search for information: four clear sections — Services, Patient information, Quality and safety, The clinic — with a page for each department, for the room types with the dietary plan, for admissions and the useful telephone numbers. A visitor reaches every answer within a few clicks.
The website shows the clinic's people by name: six scientific heads of department and eighteen associate doctors, each with their specialty, and the nursing staff with a page of their own. A patient knows in advance who they will meet.
Quality care for everyone
Two sections make the information substantial: the procedure information sheets, where the clinic publishes texts on operations it performs, so a patient can read the procedure before admission, and the room types with the dietary plan, where they see how they will be hospitalised, together with the practical admission information.
The first practical question has a page of its own: insurance cover and financial policy, with the clinic's agreement with the national health provider — which, in the clinic's own words, allows every citizen to be admitted there. The website also stays alive: announcements for each new doctor joining, job openings, and the presentation of the ambulances — staffed by rescuers, certified by the national emergency service, for patient transfers and event cover.
